Have you ever been anxious or worried about something or what people thought about you?
Years ago, a friend of mine’s son came to her one morning before school who was eight at the time. He told her how he was worried about what his teacher would think about his project or what others would think.
She felt bad.
But then she remembered a verse in the Bible where we are called to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. How does she explain it to her son?
She tried to put it in ways he could understand. She told him that when he has a thought that makes him feel anxious or afraid to catch it like a baseball. She then cupped her hands and told him to look at it and ask, " is this something Jesus would say to me?" If the answer is no, throw that thought back into the outfield.
The boy smiled and then thanked his mother and ran off to get ready for the day.
And this mother KNEW it was going to be a better day.

Niños Vs Adults y Cristianos Adultos Jóvenes: ¿Qué tan maduro eres?
Los niños a menudo preguntan: "¿Cuál es la diferencia real entre los adultos y los niños?"

Kids Versus Grown-ups and Young Adult Christians: How mature are you?
Kids often ask, "What's the real difference between grown-ups and kids?"
Here's the difference: Grown-ups do what they know what they need to do because it's the right thing to do regardless of feeling or forethought.
Kids do what they want and don't pay attention to what their parents say, but only do so when told what to do when asked by parents, not initiative. (Doing it themselves without having to be asked by an adult(s).)

Confieso que he pecado y soy un pecador y cuánto necesito un Salvador. Gracias Señor mi Salvador por morir en la cruz y tomar mi culpa y vergüenza. Confieso que tú eres el Señor de todos y te pido que me perdones por mis pecados pasados, presentes y futuros mientras me preparo para comenzar mi camino de intimidad contigo. Ahora te pido que seas Señor sobre mi vida aquí en la tierra y creo completamente con todo mi corazón y alma que has resucitado y estás sentado a la diestra de Dios. Gracias Señor Jesucristo por tu trabajo que ahora apenas has comenzado en mi vida y ayúdame, ahora que te conozco plenamente, para compartirte con otros. God, I may not know what I am saying to you at the moment, but I confess that I do not have all the answers but I pray that you would show me the answer to life: you. I confess that I have sinned and am a sinner and how much I need a Savior. Thank you Lord my Savior for dying on the cross and taking my guilt and shame. I confess that you are Lord of all and ask you to forgive me for my sins past, present, and future as I prepare to start my walk of intimacy with you. I now ask that you would be Lord over my life here on earth and I fully believe with all my heart and soul that you are raised to life and are seated at the right hand of God. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for your work that you now just begun in my life and help me, now that I know you fully, to share you with others. In Jesus name and for your will alone I pray. Amen.
