Speaking and Praying in Tongues? The true reality of the Pentecostal Church and God's word in the Twenty-first Century Today and Everyday

Pentecostal churches drive me nuts. Below is an explanation why I am thinking this way....

I was talking with a friend of mine from my church and she stated how Assembles of God is a colt. How?

For example, when the apostles were in the upper room, the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost. Afterwards, they started speaking in what is known today as: tongues.

Let that sink in for a minute....

Newsflash: It was NOT tongues as translated in the original Greek language: it was speaking in there own language as a native tongue. It is NOT a gift of the Spirit, it is a language of their own. Do NOT let any "Christian" fool you...

If you want proof that there is no such thing as tongues, I challenge you deeply to read and pick apart: Acts 2:4,6-7 ERV
[4] They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak different languages. The Holy Spirit was giving them the power to do this. [6] A large crowd came together because they heard the noise. They were surprised because, as the apostles were speaking, everyone heard in their own language. [7] They were all amazed at this. They did not understand how the apostles could do this. They said, "Look! These men we hear speaking are all from Galilee.

For YEARS, I believed the "prophetic" truth that speaking and praying in tongues is a gift AND if you are a intercesser you have to pray in tongues.

It's all Satan trying to deceive you: do NOT buy into the lie. https://www.thetrumpet.com/4598-the-plain-truth-about-speaking-in-tongues
Acts 2:1-3 ERV
[1] When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. [2] Suddenly a noise came from heaven. It sounded like a strong wind blowing. This noise filled the whole house where they were sitting. [3] They saw something that looked like flames of fire. The flames were separated and stood over each person there.
Acts 1:6-8 ERV
[6] The apostles were all together. They asked Jesus, "Lord, is this the time for you to give the people of Israel their kingdom again?" [7] Jesus said to them, "The Father is the only one who has the authority to decide dates and times. They are not for you to know. [8] But the Holy Spirit will come on you and give you power. You will be my witnesses. You will tell people everywhere about me-in Jerusalem, in the rest of Judea, in Samaria, and in every part of the world."
Acts 2:18-21 ERV
[18] In those days I will pour out my Spirit on my servants, men and women, and they will prophesy. [19] I will work wonders in the sky above. I will cause miraculous signs on the earth below. There will be blood, fire, and thick smoke. [20] The sun will be changed into darkness, and the moon will be as red as blood. Then the great and glorious day of the Lord will come. [21] And everyone who trusts in the Lord will be saved.'

Get what I am saying? I hope you know and understand that there are Christians who attend church once a week and the next day, do something against the bible and against God.

Serious, here. Not playing games!

Hope you are encouraged and honestly, from my own experience, do your homework!

Think about it.

Blessings!
