What would it be like With no father or mother to Discipline us? Findout here!

"God disciplines his children." You may have heard this before. But did you know that this holy Father also punishes his children?

It's easy to think of our Heavenly Father as a mean father and that he lets us get away with the sins we commit, hoping he will never know or see us. But, friend, God always sees and knows.

So, the best option when we sin, is to:

a) Admit our wrongs and own up to our mistakes or sins,
b) Apologize to our Father for committing our sin,
c) Ask for forgiveness for our sin,
and,
d) Fully turn away from our sin (repent) by making a u-turn and by not committing the same deliberate act again.

In order for us to be sons and daughters of the Living God, we need to be whipped with the rod! This is a true sign of love and, if we are never disciplined by our Father, we never learn from our mistakes which means we choke our spiritual growth and we never grow. Without discipline, we would never become the mature men and women God has called us to be.
