Kids often ask, "What's the real difference between grown-ups and kids?"
Here's the difference: Grown-ups do what they know what they need to do because it's the right thing to do regardless of feeling or forethought.
Kids do what they want and don't pay attention to what their parents say, but only do so when told what to do when asked by parents, not initiative. (Doing it themselves without having to be asked by an adult(s).)
Christians are called to be mature believers by doing what God calls us to do right away, regardless of the feeling or insecurity. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James+1%3A2-4&version=NIV.
I don't know about you or where you are at: whether you are a newborn Christian or adolescent Christian, or grown-up Christian, I am committed to growing up! How about you?
