Exodus 15:20-21 NIV
[20] Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron's sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her, with timbrels and dancing. [21] Miriam sang to them: “Sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea.”
Exodus 28:1-5 NIV
[1] “Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests. [2] Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor. [3] Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest. [4] These are the garments they are to make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve me as priests. [5] Have them use gold, and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.
Proverbs 14:30 NIV
[30] A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
James 3:14-18 NIV
[14] But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. [15] Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. [16] For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. [17] But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. [18] Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
Jealousy is a sneaky sin and if we are not careful, it can erupt into a boil.
Don't let jealousy override your precious life here on earth.
Let God deal with it! Take it to him, he can handle your honesty. He will respond.
Blessings!
